Butte Elks Lodge 240

Accessible Bathroom

The Butte Elks Lodge 240 was the first business to be acknowledged for Good Access is Good Business. They prioritized remodeling the space to add a separate

accessible bathroom. The Elks Lodge is now one of few fully accessible event spaces in uptown Butte.

Lone Peak Physical Therapy

Accessible Design

Lone Peak was acknowledged for the overall accessibility of the design of their space; from a button on the front door to accessible bathrooms and workout spaces. It was also noted that all of their staff is very accommodating and treats each client individually.

Butte Native Wellness Center

Sliding Front Door

The Butte Native Wellness Center is in the process of a huge remodel. They prioritized adding a sliding front door as it is the most accessible option. This feature is also the most inclusive since everyone can benefit from the ease of use, without needing to pull a door or push a button.

Mountain West Psychological Resources

Inclusive Parking

Mountain West Psychological Resources just finished building their own space. They thoughtfully followed ADA guidelines throughout, and went above and beyond by designating spots in their parking lot with a sign that reads, "Reserved for persons with limited mobility."

Mountains and Milestones

Accessible Design

In their new space, Mountains and Milestones have incorporated accessible design from the bathrooms to the front door button. They have also been recognized for their staff and treating everyone that comes in as an individual.

Town Pump 
(On Montana and Platinum)

Accessible Parking

A member of the Butte Disability Action Network contacted Town Pump about the store on the corner of Montana and Platinum. The accessible parking spots were missing the permanent signs and the paint was wearing off. Within two weeks the signs were installed!

Action Inc

Accessible Design

Action Inc built a beautiful building and incorporated accessible design throughout; from the bathrooms to the front door button to an elevator. They are also being recognized for their staff who meets each person that enters their space with respect and dignity.

The Executive Village

Accessible Wayfinding

The Executive Village in the heart of Butte added wayfinding signs to guide folks to the accessible entrance. It's small details like these that make a big difference to people navigating the community.

Taco del Sol and Pita Pit

Accessible Design

The owners of these two restaurants designed both spaces to be accessible. They also incorporated a middle space with bathrooms that were thoughtfully designed and ADA compliant.
