Good Access is Good Business: Butte
Lone Peak Physical Therapy
Accessible Design
Lone Peak was acknowledged for the overall accessibility of the design of their space; from a button on the front door to accessible bathrooms and workout spaces. It was also noted that all of their staff is very accommodating and treats each client individually.
Butte Native Wellness Center
Sliding Front Door
The Butte Native Wellness Center is in the process of a huge remodel. They prioritized adding a sliding front door as it is the most accessible option. This feature is also the most inclusive since everyone can benefit from the ease of use, without needing to pull a door or push a button.
Mountain West Psychological Resources
Inclusive Parking
Mountain West Psychological Resources just finished building their own space. They thoughtfully followed ADA guidelines throughout, and went above and beyond by designating spots in their parking lot with a sign that reads, "Reserved for persons with limited mobility."
Town Pump
(On Montana and Platinum)
Accessible Parking
A member of the Butte Disability Action Network contacted Town Pump about the store on the corner of Montana and Platinum. The accessible parking spots were missing the permanent signs and the paint was wearing off. Within two weeks the signs were installed!
